A valid ID or passport copy should be uploaded. Any application that does not include an ID or passport will not be accepted.
Participants should finish all requirements before applying for the award (see requirements).
All evidence related to completing sections must be uploaded along with the registration page.
Selected providers should be in the United Arab Emirates.
Participants should apply for one award of one medal at a time. They cannot apply for two medals at the same time.
All sections should be completed as per the periods specified for each medal.
When participants submit evidence of completing the sections, all evidence should not be older than 2 years between completion of the activity and registration for the award.
All sections should be documented as following:
Adventure: Assessor’s report and a video between 5-10 minutes.
Volunteering: Assessor’s report.
Skills: Assessor’s report.
Hobbies: a video between 5-10 minutes.
Participants should fill feedback forms for development purposes.
Participants should confirm their attendance to ceremony at least 2 weeks ahead.
If participants did not attend the ceremony, they will have to receive the certificates and badges by visiting the awards’ office.
Some of the sections might include risk such as adventure, the provider and yourself takes responsibility for your safety. The award is not responsible for any safety issues if it does not organize the event itself.
Any skill that is chosen should not be repeated as a hobby, and vice versa.
In the ‘Hobbies’ section, it should not be gathering items such as: stamps, currency, bottles, or playing games, such as the PlayStation. They have to be hobbies that the participants practice or make themselves.
Participants who have won previous medals may re-apply for a higher medal, provided they present new evidance.
Winners of the gold medal in the previous Award's cycle cannot apply again, as the gold medal is the highest achievement in the award.
Participants may submit evidance of completing the required hours in any field, through a provider who meets these terms:
1) Licensed in the UAE.
2) Has a valid website.
3) Is able to verify the activity with a stamped certificate.
